BB : The invitation said black tie, not black eye. Are you okay? I mean, if you’re in some kind of trouble−
C: Only of my own making.

of one's own making

BB: Do me a favor, will you? Lose the Scotch. It’s barely noon.

N: Serena, I really need to talk to you.
S: Actually I need to talk to you, which means you can listen.

N: Meet me in Chuck’s suite.
S: I’m not sneaking around with you.

N: Please. Just to talk.
S: Ten minutes.
N: I'll meet you up there.

She's really going places.

C: You worried about Nate? Just a shot in the dark. I think you know what you need to do to get his attention.
B: And what’s that?
C: The key to my suite, Nate’s heart and your future happiness. I’m honored to be playing even a small role in your deflowering.
B: You’re disgusting.
C: Yes I am, so why be shy. Just grab Nate and finish this. Report back with details.

shot in the dark
deflower = To have sexual intercourse with (a virgin, especially a woman).

B: What are you doing right now?
N: Well, I was just gonna...
B: How about me?
N: Uh....
B: What, you have a better offer, or ..
N: No, of course, not.

またでた!a better offer

7. (Gossip Girlが)
GG: Spotted: N and B, hot and heavy in the halls of the Palace Hotel. Only to find S already waiting. Sparks were flying for sure, but will it be a three way or D-Day?

S: Oh. No no, I’ll go. Let you guys get back to your quickie.
B: It wasn’t a quickie! Sex is actually kind of a big deal to some of us.

quickie
a : a quickly and usually cheaply produced work (as a motion picture or book)
b : a hastily performed act of sexual intercourse

9. SとN
S: Dan? What, you really think she would tell him?
N: It’s Blair.

It's not OK, if it's Chuck.

L: Tell your harem of shop girls and models that you’re seeing someone.
B: I am, but those conversations take a little time.
L: Well they’ve got nothing but time, Bart. They’re 25.

B: That doesn’t sound any smarter the second time.

B: We were just getting into that.

S: Look, Dan, it was a long time ago and I regret it.
C: Look, Serena, stop trying to pretend you’re a good girl. So you slept with your best friend’s boyfriend. I kind of admire you for it.

15. でBがDに
B: I just thought you should know. Before you fall head over heels for your perfect girl in her perfect world and then get left all alone with no one but your Cabbage Patch kid.

So Many Man So Little Time っていう歌があるみたい。

D: It’s fine, it’s fine. Everyone can stop looking. He’s a jerk. But it’s my fault and I’m leaving.

jerk = An idiot or stupid person. An insensitive, selfish, ignorant, cocky person who is inconsiderate and does stupid things.

B: Not even close.

19. (Gossip Girl)
GG: Some might call this a fustercluck, but on the Upper East Side, we call it Sunday afternoon.

fustercluck
An alteration of clusterfuck that can be uttered in public places such as the work place.

clusterfuck = vulgar slang) A disastrously mishandled situation or undertaking.

D: I thought you were different.
S: Well I’m sorry I’m not who you thought I was. But what’s happened is in the past. And all I can do is try to change. But if you can’t accept that, you know, you’re not who I thought you were. Well I guess we both made mistakes.

R: Did you find her?
D: Yeah, I found her... and then I lost her.
R: Oh, that's, uh..
D: It's fine. It's fine. Really, It's all for the best...

N: Look Blair, either you try to forgive me and we move on, or we end it.

23. (Gossip Girl)
GG: It looks like the ultimate insider has become a total outsider. It’s your move, Serena. And you know who’ll be watching: Gossip Girl.
